Presently residing at Nitesh Kunj complex, close to IGI airport on NH-8, Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj was born in a farming Brahmin family at Sonipat Haryana, and got his school education from Hindu High School, Sonipat. He was a meritorious student and won scholarship in most of his school years. He scored first Division in matriculation in 1967 and secured a National Scholarship & Vice Chancellor Scholarship. Even from his school time, he was fond of social activities and participated in different camps through Bharat Sewak Samaj & Scouts etc. He was also a under officer Sergeant in NCC and had the privilege of serving the country in 1965 by guarding the railway lines to avoid sabotage by infiltrators. He got NCC certificate as a best shooter during his school time. He was an excellent debater and won many certificates in debates, Essay and competitions, art and painting. Having scored high Marks in matriculation he was invited by DAV College Jalandhar as a brilliant student. During the time of college education he actively participated in college and hostel activities and was in charge of Arya Samaj YajShala. He passed his premedical exam from DAV College Jalandhar and migrated to Hindu college Sonipat in final year of B.Sc (Biology). He then did his graduation from Delhi University in 1972.
Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj got the opportunity to serve in Delhi Govt, from 1969 to 1976 and worked at several important positions. Being an entrepreneur he learned and had experience of steel fabrication, production of auto parts, ultimately entering into real estate business in 1976-1977. He also did a specialized training course in export marketing & management for M/01 Govt of India. By dent of his hard work he got success into the trade by developing a number of farm house colonies in and around Delhi and procuring lands for big industrial houses and developers for setting up industries and colonies. His reputation as the man who gets job done' got him business from large industrial houses effective through his result
Oriented approach. His company DAPL now has more than 50 full time employees besides many contractual staff. The company is now building a township in Haridwar and few hotels & Motels in and around Delhi and north India. To get international exposure Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj went abroad as a business entrepreneur to Canada. He has the experience of successfully running two hotels in Niagra Falls, Canada from 1998-2004 and in the process became an NRI based in Toronto.
As a business entrepreneur Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj has established contacts in over 100 villages of Delhi. In most of these villages he owns farm land and assets. He has been operating in 6 states of north India by owning and trading into real estate namely Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, UP & Delhi. Being highly ambitious and committed to his profession he is busy in setting up a chain of hotels and tourism related projects and have purchase assets to established hotels in Delhi, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Haryana.
Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj has special interest in education and his wife Mrs Ramesh Kumari Bhardwaj being a teacher from Delhi village, established a senior secondary residential school in Dwarka in year 1986-87 under the name of "Shiksha Bharati Sr. Sec. Public School. Since then, more than 10,000 students have got their education and have public connection with around 50,000 Ex Students, parents & grandparents. The school has 150 employees & Teachers. The school has won many laurels in different activities like standing first in the country in patriotic songs, drama, Scout & Guides, NCC, sports, up to winning National Awards from PRESIDENT OF INDIA.
In addition to his business activities, Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj played a vital role in social and cultural development of the community and country. He has been associated with number of social organisations such as Bharat Vikas Parisad, Samajik and Dharmik Mahasang of Delhi for a long time as a patron.
He has been Senior VP of Kendriya Arya Sabha of Arya Samaj , Delhi. He has been instrumental in establishing a number of new Arya Samaj Temples centers’ and has contributed in the social and cultural upliftment of the society by giving opportunity to down trodden in vocational classes. He has also participated actively in the jail reforms by organizing discourses and vocational courses during the time of, Ms. Kiran Bedi IPS, Tihar Jail, and New Delhi as DG prisons. He has donated and contributed significantly for helping the disabled by giving them artificial limbs through the Bharat Vikas Parishadas its patron for the last 20 years.
Mrs. Ramesh Kumari Bhardwaj was born in Delhi. Her father was a state awarder Headmaster of Delhi School and thus has taught large number of students. She graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia University in 1974 and has been a great source of strength & inspiration for the family. She is a dynamic lady and have a large social network having actively participated in a number of charitable, social events and being member of charitable societies for Orphanage, old age Home, leprosy patients.
Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj & Mrs. Ramesh Kumari Bhardwaj have two sons. Mr. Hitesh Bhardwaj, the elder one is a Hotel Executive and looks after the school and construction activities and married to a MBA girl being daughter of an ex-Army Colonel from Gurgaon, Haryana.
